In addition to our Italian fare, we offer French-inspired dishes, American takes on classics, and seasonal foods, as well. We also take pride in our St. Patricks Day corned beef, as well as our Thanksgiving turkey. There isn't an occasion that we don't excel at.

Our guests love our pavilion! In addition to your party menu selection, we also fire up the grill and provide hot dogs and hamburgers right there at the pavilion. Our staff works closely with you to ensure everyone has a great time. We also offer bar service, host bands, and are known to throw a pig roast every now and again. Perfect for birthday parties, bridal showers, stag parties, and much more.

Mona Lisa Restaurant was established in Newtown, Connecticut. It served its first meal on February 7, 1989 without the help of any publicity or advertising.

Located in Wolcott, CT, Mona Lisa Restaurant marries modern cooking sensibilitY with classic Italian Flavor
The quality of our food and our service spread fast throughout the community by word of mouth. Business grew, and within one year, the restaurant had to double its size to accommodate the growing number of guests. A greenroom was added to the front of the building to raise the restaurant’s capacity from 52 to 140.
Mona Lisa continued to provide excellent food and service to its guests and business remained strong. In June of 2007 we finally sold the Newtown location and on January 14, 2008, we opened our new Mona Lisa in Wolcott, CT. We see customers not only from the Waterbury and Wolcott area, but also Prospect, Cheshire, even as far as New Britain.
Currently, Mona Lisa accommodates 220 guests along with a martini bar and cocktail lounge that can seat 40 additional guests, as well as a party room with the capacity of up to 100 guests. There is also a spectacular outdoor patio that can accommodate 50 guests during the warm weather months. Mona Lisa also offers a pavilion in the back of the main restaurant which can accommodate up to 250 guests for any type of outdoor functions.
We appreciate your patronage and are always eager to listen to your comments or compliments. Mona Lisa Restaurant has had the same chefs and been under the same management since 1989.
